Reviewer Guideline
Duties and Responsibilities for Reviewers
When a reviewer application is made to the Journal of Sustainable Green Development (JSGD) or an invitation to reviewer from JSGD is accepted, the following terms are deemed to have been accepted, too.
- Respecting and abiding by open access and copyright
- To comply with the legislation, ethical principles and, journal’s rules and decisions
- To comply with the journal’s principles and policies, rights and licenses
- Giving importance to peer review, being willing
- Accepting the review of the articles on the fields of which he/she is an expert, not accepting the others
- Notifying JSGD within the given time whether or not he/she can act as an reviewer when he/she is invited to review
- Allowing enough time to review the manuscript, not accepting to review if there is no enough time
- Reviewing the manuscript with scientific, impartiality and confidentiality
- Being sensitive about ethics, informing the Editor in case of suspected ethical violation
- Being sensitive about conflict of interest, informing the Editor in such a case
- Completing review within the given time
- Submitting the results of the review to JSGD via the Manuscript Review Form for Reviewers
- Always use a polite, respectful and scientific tone in the Manuscript Review Form for Reviewers; not make unscientific, hostile, defamatory or insulting personal comments
